Ad Group showing false sales
HI. I have an group with 9 asin's. The website is claiming that 3 of these items have had sales. But these are newly listed items and I have not sold any of them. I've checked by doing an order search just to be sure. But I make these myself so I know that I have not sold any.
I have tried to contact seller support but that seems to be impossible now as you just get sent around in circles buy a robot.
Has anyone else had this?
Thanks
Paul

It could be they clicked on those ads but that then took them, if some of your other listings were displayed on those pages (not in the "sponsored ads" place/slot) and clicked through to buy those items. I think they still attribute those sales to that first click through from a sponsored ad. Did you have other sales, not those showing up in the ad console?

This is highly concerning. Following.
The Campaign Data sometimes gets glitchy but there's usually a notification saying as much.
I would definitely contact Seller Support about this and persevere. I've actually had decent support from seller support recently.

Hey there, @Seller_hE7xAID2kbBjI, we'd like to look into this further on our end. Since you mentioned you've already contacted Seller Support, would you be able to share the case ID from that interaction? That will help us investigate what's happening with the ad group data.
Let us know if you have any questions in the meantime.

I don’t have an answer to your question but just to clarify one point that you seem to be confused about.
Amazon charges ad costs per click, not per sale. From your various statements, it seems to me that you believe that you only pay if you have sales.
Apologies if I misunderstood.

Did you get a response from SS? Just keep going, select a category even though it isn't relevant. All you need is for the chat dialogue to open.

Hello @Seller_hE7xAID2kbBjI,
Thank you for sharing additional details and for your patience while trying to get this resolved.
I'd like to clarify something important: for this type of issue, where your advertising reports are showing data that doesn't match your actual sales, the correct team to contact is the Amazon Ads Support team, not regular Seller Support. You can reach the Ads Support team directly h e r e.
If after you contact the Ads Support team you still need our assistance, please share the case ID here so we can review further and detemine the best way to help you.
Kind regards,
Ana
