Customs code for click and drop
ok - incredibly stupid question
i’ve just had a sale to Jersey and using click and drop
i have to enter Country of Origin which is fine
customs description which i presume is ‘sale of goods’ ?
but it wants a 6 8 or 10 digit customs code
any ideas as there is nothing on my amazon order page so presume its not IOSS number ? or is it ?

This will be the commodity code: https://www.trade-tariff.service.gov.uk/sections
but to be honest it’s not really required for the Channel Islands (ex-Channel Islander here), just find one that matches as close as you can, customs in Jersey won’t even bother checking it if it’s coming from the UK. Just remember to stick a CN22 label on. Depending on the value, you may have to pay Jersey GST:
