Is it time to activate 2 day handle time?
Has anyone or are people considering turning on 2 day handle time to increase the delivery estimate? Currently our products are showing estimated delivery 21st - 22nd December. We don’t know if it’s a smart idea to add on the 2 day handle time to increase the delivery estimate. Having looked at the Royal Mail website the list of Mail Centre processing delays and delivery offices with staff issues resulting in not all mail being delivered seems to be increasing… and with what’s in the news I’m wondering if a sudden spike in people isolating is going to cause disruption next week?? There’s the issue of Saturday… Sunday… Monday and Tuesday (not this week next week) all being bank holidays so if items don’t get to customers by Xmas Eve there’s going to be a long wait for them to turn up…
