Slow sales feb Jan
I have been trading since September 2017 branded clothing, it has been going really well, however January and February have been really slow is this quite normal for this time of year

You started at perhaps the peak selling period in the run up to Christmas, it’s unlikely Jan/Feb would continue at similar sales levels unless you increased your product range, offered a sale promotion or something to boost sales, then likely a seasonal adjustment for your category.

There’s always a bit of a dip for most people in January especially after a healthy December but we’ve had some really good days scattered with poor days since Xmas… but overall it’s climbing slowly. As Pink Panther says, starting September may have given you a little bit more optimism than you can expect ongoing. equally, as you have started to build your store during this time you also got that advantage too which long term will serve you well. It’ll be fine. Don’t over-replenish stocks too quickly now though (to avoid higher than needed storage costs) and you’ll see how this balances out over the next 6-8 weeks and overall you can expect that level, plus a slowly growing increase until ‘your’ next rush time - e.g. with clothes that might be the holiday period for you.
