Buyer sent 1 of 2 items back, Amazon have refunded the full order
One of our buyers ordered 2 items, they opened a return and sent 1 back but Amazon have refunded both items. I messaged the buyer to confirm what they sent back and they replied saying it was just 1. I have appealed this with seller support providing this surely irrefutable evidence but after a few days I got the usual reply "Although we understand your position, we stand by our decision."
Do I just give up and accept the loss (again) or is there a way of getting this resolved?

Escalate to managingdirector@amazon.co.uk
When they don't overturn it, legal action.

Dont bother with writing to the managing director or even vaguely thinking this is anywhere near a legal action. Both are not valid responses. The MD will not respond and even a small claims court action is likely to be classed as frivolous and you will have wasted your money.
Yes, sadly this is one of the costs of trading using the Amazon platform. Most customers are genuinely honest, but occasionally you do get a dishonest one. Amazon protects its own brand and puts the customer first. If you chose to sell on Amazon you agree to decisions made and comply with all policies.
Its a write off, I am afraid.
Sorry

Hi there @Seller_s32wPsLAL7ift,
I'm sorry you have had issues with this return. In order to review to see what options exist to appeal this refund we will need additional details to review further. Please reply with your most recent Case ID and we will see what escalation options, if any, we can provide. Thank you for your understanding.
