3rd of January 2022 - Bank holiday?
Can anyone tell me if Amazon recognises the 3rd of January 2022 as a bank holiday?
I’m just wondering if I need to dispatch FBM orders on that day.
Thanks in advance!

Yes they recognise English bank Holidays and I believe 3rd is a bank holiday in lieu of New Year’s Day
I say English as they don’t use Scottish, Irish or Welsh Bank holidays

ROYAL MAIL are saying that they are still collecting on 3 January. Therefore, I am guessing Amz are likely to expect shipments.
I am wondering what Amz are considering as well. The same goes between Xmas and New Year as even DPD do not know

Amazon gives the holiday dates in the Shipping Settings here: https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk/sbr#settings
It is currently showing 2021 dates so once we turn to 2022, it might get updated to reflect if 3rd Jan is Bank Holiday or not.

My main collections depot sends me a sheet in beginning of December with a list of dates so that I can tick or cross if I want a collection on what days over christmas
I have an option of a collection at lunchtime on 31st Dec and then nothing until Tuesday 4th Jan so there are no deliveries or collections on Monday 3rd and my calendar (and Google just in case) show 3rd is a UK bank holiday

What about Xmas eve, will Amazon still expect us to be shipping up until 4pm?

It looks like they’re counting today as a trading day though. So, they’ve given Tuesday 28th in lieu of Boxing Day but are expecting our Prime orders to be dispatched today. Anyone else looking at the same thing?
