What is the difference between customer Product Reviews and Customer Product Ratings?
Does any one know what is the difference between between customer Product Reviews and Customer Product Ratings ?
One of our products suddenly ended up with two bad ratings obviously affecting the sales . How does this work? Since when is now 2 categories both affecting the product without giving any reasons?

If a buyer gives it just stars ie no comment, it’s a rating.
If they leave a comment, it’s a review

This feedback system is getting very complicated. Lets say the buyer just gives stars and no comments, why their date, short name and if they bought on Amazon or not is not shown in the same way as a review to give legitimacy to the customer rating?
Some products have a lot of feedbacks from other countries. So why some do & others don’t , considering that they are all universal models ?

Leaving a 1 star rating on a new product listing destroys it instantly. No way to catch competitors out any more, when they are completely anonymous!
A really bad move on Amazon’s part. As if the sight wasn’t rife with fake reviews already.

You are spot on. If the ratings are true then the buyers details should be there exactly like a review . Something not right here
