Read onlyMy account was set to 'inactive' when it had not been used for many months. I have tried to reactivate it by confirming the charge card on file (debit business card). While the UK store seems to to briefly verify, i still get the 'invalid charge method' screen prompting me to replace my card.
The card is still in date, same address and as same as used previously. I have tried 4 times to verify with UK store and Amazon have successfully charged £1.00 each time to my business bank account. So it looks like these pre-authorisation charges are successful.
However, i have recieved an email from Amazon saying "We were unable to verify the charge method that you provided for your seller account". I have also now received a deactivation email asking for utility bill...which i will not be able to send until i can get past the 'invalid charge method' screen. It prevents me from accessing other parts of the site including help pages and links.
It's the same card i used to open and verify the account before....so not sure what the issue is now?
I have the same issue. CS just keeps asking me to update the card address or use a new payment card. We have tried both method but it is not working....
SNAP. sold with Amazon for years, the card has been on the system since 2021 and now INVALID PAYMENT METHOD message spoke to my bank and they have confirmed that NO ISSUES with the card, amazon is a nightmare to sort this out.....The card is the only one I have for my business. THE CARD DOES NOT EXPIRE UNTIL LATE 2027.
nothing has been changed and confused why this has occurred, Barclays have told me that they see no attemps for payments....so frustrating as going round in circles
Same issue here. The bank says there is no issue with Visa debit card that Amazon can't validate. Amazon repeatedly telling me to upload a different card but I only have one business card. Now asked to upload other documents which I can't upload because we are blocked out.
