Increase your sales using Fulfilment by Amazon for Hazmat!
Has anyone received a phonecall and then a follow up email called
Increase your sales using Fulfilment by Amazon for Hazmat!!
The exclamation marks make it look quite suspect. There is also a suspect looking link in the email.
Assuming it is a new scam then a phonecall first makes it look very convincing.

Could you post here the full text of the e-mail?
I was contacted by Amazon numerous times offering me their services related to FBA and VAT management, so this doesn’t sound suspicious to me at all.
Check if yeh sender of the e-mail ends with amazon.co.uk or amazon.com.
Also, here you can learn more about the ways how to spot fake e-mails:

Procedure
-
You are only permitted to use FBA for Dangerous Goods once you have accepted our Hazmat Pilot terms and conditions and have been approved by Amazon to participate in the Hazmat Pilot. You may then inbound eligible Dangerous Goods which you successfully registered onto the Hazmat Pilot. To get a Dangerous Goods item registered, you must (i) create or convert your listings of eligible Dangerous Goods item to “Fulfillment by Amazon” in your seller account; (ii) confirm to Amazon which listings are for Dangerous Goods items; and (iii) provide us with either the product’s Safety Data Sheet or the SDS exemption sheet[4], and additional product information as necessary to allow safe use and transportation of the Dangerous Goods item. For product bundles containing Dangerous Goods, you must provide information requested in (ii) and (iii) of this section for each Dangerous Goods item in the bundle. Our ASIN review process will take approximately 3-5 working days during which you will not be able to create a shipment. During our review process we may request additional information for appropriate Dangerous Goods classification and we may reject an item in our sole discretion. Once an item is successfully registered in the Hazmat Pilot you will be able to create an inbound shipment for FBA.

The Hazmat Pilot currently only supports the removal of Dangerous Goods (the return of products from Amazon’s fulfilment centres to you) to return addresses in the country where your product is stored when you place the removal order. If you would like to arrange for your new products to be returned to a different country, you may be able to create a multichannel fulfilment order. For more information on this service, including pricing, please refer to this help page in Seller Central. If you would like assistance in creating a multichannel fulfilment order, please contact either your FBA Partner Manager or, after 6 months of Hazmat Pilot participation, Seller Support through your Seller Central account.
