Buyer claiming undelivered item
Good evening guys,
I just had a 1st message from the buyer, claiming that the item wasn’t delivered, I have sent the item on 11th November 2021, so 3 months ago, but the buyer just messages me now, saying the item wasn’t delivered.
The tracking number on the Royal Mail says: Tracking information is not available for this service.
Any idea what to do?

To be honest I would be concerned why the claim is being made 3 months later. Royal Mail will not entertain claims over such period. We had a customer waited over 4 years and then tried to our a claim in.

Was it sent via a tracked method ?
Earlier I posted this on another thread - RM policy:
Claims for loss must be made within 80 calendar days of the date of posting, or no claim will be entertained. Royal Mail has no legal liability for any loss if at the time of the claim 80 days has expired from the date of posting.
