They are unhelpful, do not bother to look at the attachments with said errors on them, then they chase you 4 hours after you started the case for more information even though they took 10 hours to respond to your case and you are now in bed.
Amazon butchers your listings giving errors and they its left to us to sort, and deal with the SS unhelpfulness, unsupportiveness and delays.

Support may not be the reason sales are falling overall. For nonessential goods, weaker customer spending is probably the bigger factor. But that is exactly why support quality matters more now, not less. When demand is already soft, sellers cannot afford extra delays, repeated requests for the same information, or listing issues that take days to resolve.

Amazon like it this way, so Seller Support people are simply doing their job well. You must realise that they are not there to help you, but to let Amazon show the world how good they are by providing what is called, and what should be, a service. Merchant sellers know the truth of course as they experience it every day of the week. Do not expect a change any time soon - this has been the 'way things are' for decades, not just years.

I totally agree, I have been on several cases with them and I am going in circles with them pretty much since I started selling on this platform.
Sales are practically baseline and I spend every day dealing with the several cases I have since 4 months.

When SS respond to a case asking for more information, you can be sure 99% of the time this is done simply to get the ticket out their queue so the SS rep has better performance stats. They do this all the time, hugely frustrating.

I've purposely stopped ending the chat sessions myself when they're being particularly unhelpful because it's so obvious they prefer you to close it for their own stats.

I often wonder if SS have ever actually resolved an issue for a seller. Personally, I have never had a single issue resolved by SS and it is not actually worth the time to speak with them.
