It should be classed by when the orders were marked as dispatched. Did you get labels through Buy Shipping or did you pay postage elsewhere?
If it was Buy Shipping and you generated labels on the day they were due out, it sounds like a glitch. What postage type was it?
If it was postage bought elsewhere, when did you confirm dispatch?

Hello @Seller_HUur8iKVsNYuo,
This is Zyan from Amazon, and I'm here to assist you.
Thank you for reaching out about your Late Shipment Rate (LSR) concern. I understand that 2 of your 4 FBM orders were marked as late despite being dropped off at the post office on the ship-by date, resulting in a 50% LSR.
To clarify: orders are marked late based on when they are scheduled on Seller Central, not when they're physically dropped off at the post office. If an order is scheduled for shipping after its ship-by date, it will be marked as late, even if it was physically dropped off earlier.
To help you better understand what happened with these specific orders, could you please share:
- The order IDs
- When these orders were scheduled on Seller Central
- Their original ship-by dates
This information will help us identify why these orders were marked as late despite being delivered on time.
Best regards,
Zyan

Hello Xclusive_lines_l_008,
I think that if you buy labels through Amazon's Buy Shipping, the order is marked as shipped when that label is issued. The labels like this that I get are marked with a validity date which is the next day, so the Post Office will accept them on that date.
If you are buying labels at the Post Office, I think that the scan to confirm receipt at that Post Office is made when their label is issued, even if the parcel is not collected from that Post Office until the following (working) day.
But if you are dropping them at the Post Office after the Post Office counter has closed for the day, they will not be scanned until the following (working) day and so might well be considered late
You should try to get to your Post Office when the counter is open, as they will scan and validate the package, but they will also issue a Proof of Posting which may be useful in the event of a non-delivery claim
Hope that helps
Brian
