New Products Saving as Drafts and Not Going Live
Hi,
I sell books and every time I ‘Add A New Product’ to Amazon’s catalogue it is saving as a Draft and not going live. When I click ‘Edit Draft’ it keeps asking me to enter in the book’s language. When I do this it simply saves as a draft again and asks me the same thing. Is anyone else having this issue? I have been listing books on Amazon for nearly 20 years and haven’t had this problem before. Have spent hours on the phone with seller support who have not been able to solve this.
Thanks

Yup me too. Never had this previously and so far Anazon have made 4 different suggestion - none of which work. Flummoxed!.

Yeah I’ve always just gone to Inventory > Add a Product. Now they’re just saving as drafts and won’t go any further.

That’s what happens with me, a constant default to Language. I spent over an hour and a half with seller support who didn’t have much of a clue. They’re saying I need to add in the Manufacturer but the option for that has disappeared. They’ve suggested uploading an inventory feed which I’ve never done, hasn’t gone successfully so far…

I can’t say I’ve had this problem in books (I listed a few today with no obvious problems) but.…there has been quite a big cosmetic change today to the listing confirmation emails (for sellers who list individually/manually, at least).
Whereas the subject header of the emails was always
Listing Confirmation–Amazon Marketplace
It has now changed (in books, at least) to the name of the actual title of the item.
The link to the relevant ASIN is now also a live URL where previously it was not clickable.
I wonder if this indicates more widespread tinkering and possibly other, deeper changes?

Me too…
Exactly the same problem, and no joy with seller central, surprise surprise…
It all seems to have happened since they changed the listing page…
I’m really hoping someone can help
