New seller listing my first items seems impossible
Hi am very new and I am trying to list a few items that I got from manufacturers as I sell on another platform so I thought I will take the leap to here. When it comes to listing my item , I understand that I pretty much need to piggy back on another listing , having said that , I am very accurate when it comes to listing a product meaning I wouldn’t say that an item is ''Extra strong ‘’ when it isn’t or doesn’t state that on the packaging of the product , I have looked at about 6 of my items that I could start listing and I cannot list them as the other sellers items have either the incorrect pictures of the product , incorrect titles or even descriptions are incorrect and I have read that you simply cannot list the same item twice as it will be considered to be a duplicate and get suspended etc . It’s been over 1 week and I simply cannot figure out how to list my items accurately without being forced to piggy back on someone else’s listing with incorrect information. I must be doing something wrong or thinking too much.Could anyone help me with my issue please. I would very much appreciate it . Thank you in advance.

How are you checking that the listings are indeed for your product ?
You need to go to catalogue - add products, enter the EAN that’s on your actual product and if it comes back with a listing that has the correct Brand, picture and description you add to that listing

If your buying from wholesalers etc, then you need to use the existing listings.
The best way to find out if a listing already exists, is to search using the EAN number.
THen list on that one.
Once listed, you will have the ability to edit the listing.
However, it’s not necessarily the case, that you will be able to change the listing.
Do not create new listings, when one already exists.
