Mac compatibility issues GTIN Exemption Request for nonbranded

Has anyone managed to submit the forms for GTIN exemption using a Mac with no Excel installed? I completed the forms downloaded from Amazon and after some head scratching (why is it so complicated?!), saved them in Excel format and submitted them. Now they are saying they are blank. This is 5 days into chat ping pong with an 8 hour response delay and I’m wondering if it is even worth it! Is there an easier way to get the required information to them? As far as I can see they need to search path, title, and SKU. Despite submitting several times I am just getting the same cut and paste response back re formatting :frowning:

It seems that the files you are sending are not readable in excel so somewhere, the conversion you’ve done has not worked. So point sending yet again.

Do you have a friend with excel that can help?

Have you tried saving the file as a text file? Maybe that would be read?

Do they request a specific extension or just any extension that Excel can read? If the latter, try saving it as .csv

Well in a bizarre turnaround they have now managed to read the ‘blank’ document I sent them and sorted the exemption.
Thank you both for your help!
