Amazon not letting me create new ASINS for my own brand?

Hi,

I am trying to put a new product listing up but yesterday and today i am getting this message …

You may not create new ASINs for the brand Misfits-Apparel. If you believe the product you want to sell is not currently in the Amazon catalog and should be added as a new ASIN, please copy and paste the following URL in a separate window and complete the form: https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk/hz/approvalrequest?restrictionScope=CONTRIBUTION&brandName=Misfits-Apparel&brandId=795730&operationFilter=create_asin

Which is strange because it’s my own brand and i have already been approved a a year or 2 ago, i also put up new listings last friday without any problem. But when i follow that page it takes me to a page to request authorization for my own brand? I’m really not sure what’s going on? I haven’t had any emails or anything i’ve checked my performance notifications also, account health is in good standing. Why is it not letting me list any more products?

We certainly understand that this is important to be solved as it impacts your selling experience. Furthermore, we would like to apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. Let me assist you in solving this problem.

We do understand that you might have been approved for the brand, but please be informed that we still need the following information to proceed further investigation.

To resolve the issue, you need to submit a Seller Qualification (SQ) application. To do so:

  1. Recreate the error by listing the product again:
    a. Go to Add Products link: https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk/product-search?ref=xx_catadd_dnav_home
    b. Follow the on-screen instructions and add the product.
  2. When you see the error message, click on the link provided, which will redirect you to the Selling application for Catalog Authorization.
  3. Complete the form and submit.

If you have already submitted a Selling application, check the status of the application by clicking on “Catalog” at the top left in Seller Central page and selecting “View Selling Applications”.

If you are unable to create the error or if the Selling application is not available, provide us with the following details to assist you further.

  1. The brand name used while creating the listing.
  2. Images of the product and packaging, which shows branding on either. The images can show the product and packaging when either held in hand or placed on a table. The branding must be permanently affixed.
  3. The latest screenshot of the error code 5665 with registered brand name and time stamp visible in the background.

If you have experienced this error code while using Inventory File Templates, provide us with the Batch ID of the inventory file process report and images that show branding on the product or its packaging.

What a pain in the a**, i’ve never had any issues listing products before, i put new product listings up last week. Why would i have to re-apply to sell on my own brand i dont get it?

Also i have to send

At least one (1) letter from Misfits-Apparel authorising you to create new listings for their products
Document must meet the following requirements:

Is dated on or after 19-Oct-2022 (within 180 days of the current date)
Includes your name and address
Includes the name and address of Misfits-Apparel

I am the owner? So am i writing a letter to myself?

I have been having the same issue. Would really appreciate some help.
I can’t list my own brand for some reason. I did the Brand Qualification Application over a year ago, but recently got the 5461 Error about not being able to list new product for it.

Try to open a case as they want but they ask “g. If you are officially affiliated with the brand, provide a letter of approval form the brand” which I understand would be different from the standard letter of authorisation, but can’t find a template for anywhere. Did you provide it and where did you get the template from? Also, they ask for SKU- which I don’t have. Did you provide it when they resolved this issue for you? :sweat::sob: Thanks

I went through this few months back. I also had brand approval granted 2 years back but suddenly I wasn;t able to create any new listings under my brand (only generic). Just go ahead and do what they are asking for. Upload photos, letter of authorisation etc. It took mi some time to finally get approved. Funny as we are brand owner with trademark and Amazon was asking for all documents, incl letter of authorisation. I had it rejected many times but was reopening and reopening cases again and finally it was sorted. You need to be patient. It costs lots of energy to deal with SS. They won’t give you any reasons. At the beginning I was reopening cases with different photos etc but then literally I’ve been just copying previous repies and they have accepted this. Don;t thinki it’s actually any human reading this, just boots. Good luck!
