Is it safe to change your business address to your Credit card's biling address (if its outside the US)

Hi there, I hope this message finds you well.

I am buying an inventory from a supplier but cannot pay to them because my credit card's issuer country is not the US. Now, I have changed the billing address in their website to my card's billing address but I am very concerned about the invoice that I will later use for the ungating process because it does not match my business address which I have registered in the seller central.

Thank you in advance!

Any delivery address on the invoice of a supplier has to match - of course! - the name and address of your "Legal entity" in your seller account.

You cannot provide an invoice addressed to someone else telling that YOU bought these units. YOU just need an invoice to your name and address. Ask to make the payment with a bank transfer.

cannot pay to them because my credit card's issuer country is not the US.

Why should the "credit card's issuer country" be a problem if not US? With your card you can pay worldwide, no?

Just for your information: if your business address doesn't match the credit card address Amazon will deactivate your account.

Hi @Seller_hxDdWEKmrdrET

Connor from Amazon here, thanks for your question.

@Seller_rI7BZIczK8iACanswered this perfectly. You can use your credit card to purchase inventory from anywhere, so that shouldn't be an issue, just make sure that your business and credit card addresses match to keep your account in good standing.

Cheers,

-Connor
