Amazon EDD payments

Probably not alone here with this issue but going to openly state here I find Amazon selling these days a bloody nightmare. I have been a customer/account buying and selling on Amazon for over 15 years and have never encountered the problems I have faced with selling, this began, this farce, in July when I had to wait 3 weeks before receiving funds. I’m told it could be November 9th before I receive, or rather TRANSFER funds on 9th November, for an order sent and delivered 12th October!! Totally unaccepatable. No matter how many times its backwards and forwards with messages re this case log no one can understand that my account, i was told is NOT restricted to EDD delays, yet here they go again. I am in process of making a formal complaint. Never had this problem before. Past orders I could request funds a day after I sent orders. Now its diabolical. Treating well established sellers like this. This behaviour will put off many thinking of selling here. Very very irate Barry M King

Thank you for calling me the King :crown:

On a more serious note, is the order from a business buyer that has a delayed payment/credit agreement with Amazon? Check here for open invoices: https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk/payments/invoices

Since you’re not subject the the EDD delay that’s the only explanation that springs to mind.

Hi, no that is not stated, yes a tracking number was provided, yes its “unavailable balance” for dates 20th 27th October, 2nd November and available on 9th November. Ridiculous. They state EDD was 15th October, this 7 day reserve nonsense, yet item as far as I know was delivered as requested on Saturday 12th.

As I already mentioned in the other thread, there have been lots of reports from long time sellers who had their disbursement schedules changed into Payments Based On Delivery, which is supposed to only apply to new sellers.

Here you can read more:
