Is there a way to get a notification/email when I lose the buy box?

Hi, is there a way to get any sort of email when I lose the buy box?

A certain other seller has come out of no where and changed all their prices to 1p less than mine. When I match them they move theirs to 3p cheaper and so on but I’m not going to keep going down. Products they didn’t sell last week they have now uploaded (the same products I sell) and within a minute of me lowering my price, they have somehow lowered theirs again. How are they noticing so quickly that I have altered my price if they have so many listings?

If anyone can help, Thanks

They are using auto price matching software (Amazon have their own, free for sellers to use)
It’s a race to rock bottom, destroying margins and devaluing brands.

Thanks for the replies, every time I think they have gotten too low I have put my price back up to it’s original price which it started off as, and again, within minutes they’ve put theirs back up but still only 1p lower so they still have the buy box. They’re definitely a business. Two weeks ago I had over 50% buy box and now I only have 5%

@Apricot_Whirl can we use this auto price software, how do you get it? Thank you

I have just realised, it is two companies, not just one. So must they both be using this auto price matching software?

The simplest option to get an edge on the buybox is to go FBA. If two sellers are using a re-pricing app you will never be able to win. As is just a race to the bottom. FBA or go with repricerexpress so that at least you don’t have to be manually putting your price back to the top. Th good thing about this repricer is that should they sell out and the price is at the bottom it will automatically lift the price back up.
