Basic Information - sending goods to Germany for FBA

I know there are so many questions flying around and I have tried to see if I can locate some answers but with no luck.

So like many other we are looking to send small boxes into Germany via UPS. I have some basic questions I need some answers too:

  1. How to arrange collection
  2. What additional costs there might be
  3. How we can reclaim import VAT for any shipments to FBA F/Cs in EU

I called UPS and everyone I spoke to made out they didn’t know anything about shipping with Amazon!

There is so much conflicting information out there I want to be sure we do things correctly.

I would hold fire. At least half a dozen of us sent parcels over a week ago and they have gone nowhere.

I sent a test shipment of 6 boxes last Monday and a further 6 boxes a few days after.

I think DPD have stopped delivering to europe until this mess is sorted out.
