New Seller - credit card verification
Hi,
I am a new seller and recently verified my American Express card on the 13th December. I verified in all countries UK, Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Netherlands, Poland and Sweden. When I clicked verify on each one it worked successfully. However, in ‘Charge methods’ when I clicked on Belgium it gave me the message :
'Your card could not be verified. Please try again- occurred at Thu Dec 15 2022 11:04:10 GMT+0000 (Greenwich Mean Time) . ’
I rung American Express and they confirmed there is nothing wrong with the card. When I then click on Global Accounts it confirms that I am allowed to sell in all Marketplaces including Belgium .
Also if you look at the picture of the flag next to all the countries, it lists the names correctly e.g: 'United Kingdom apart from Belgium which is labelled 'country_name_be .
I know Amazon Belgium launched recently in October so wondering if it may be because of this?

I can see, that you did open a case with the Seller Support. Does the communication address your concerns?
Do you have the possibility to use a different credit card?
