Tuffnells Tracking VTR
Hi,
We use Tuffnells as our courier for oversized items - The tracking number they supply is not recognised by Amazon as valid,
Amazon do recommend using Tuffnells as a carrier, I was wondering if anyone managed to solve the issue or have any luck with getting Amazon to recognise the tracking number they provide?
Tuffnells did give us another URN number to use but this didnt work either.

Are you on the Heavy and Large program, or do your items not fit with it?
If so, the tracking is dealt with separately to a degree. And as long as you use one of their recommended couriers, it shouldn’t be an issue.

We are having the same issue here. None of our deliverys has a valid tracking number according to Amazon. We use Tuffnells’ URN number. The carrier name is selected correctly and if you use Track&Trace on Tuffnells website the URN is trackable.
We contacted Amazon, but no answer yet.

Same position for me, none of the Tuffnells tracking is recognised no matter what you do. We have opened several cases with Amazon about this and are still waiting for an answer after 2 months now

We use Furdeco and are having to find alternatives. We couldn’t get Tufnell’s working on VTR.
Does anyone know where we can find prices for SFP large items? I don’t want to spend weeks going through the Amazon process only to find that it’s 4x the price of doing it ourselves

Out of curiosity - does the label have an actual long barcode number on it ?
The reason I ask is that I use CollectPlus/Yodel and their own 7 digit tracking number is not recognised by Amazon (as it does not appear on the label), but is trackable on their website, BUT when I started putting the actual number under the barcode in (16 digits), it is recognised, as that is what is scanned, and is now counted correctly for VTR.
Don’t know if it is the same with Tuffnells ? - but worth a try if it is.

Does anybody know how this was resolved in the end with Tufnell’s valid tracking numbers? We just started shipping with Tufnell’s today (7 shipments) and we have the URN from My Tufnell’s but worried this will not be recognised as valid by Amazon. Any ideas?

Amazon didn’t reply to my cases about the Tuffnells URN not working It just started working on it’s own without us changing anything after around 2 months. Was working perfectly until 2 weeks ago and now it’s showing as invalid again. Back to square one again…

According to Amazon support, Tuffnells is no longer accepted as a supported courier therefor the tracking is not considered valid.
