Create listing using UPC in Flat file but after uploaded it changed to EAN
In flat file I did select UPC as the Product ID Type but recently, after uploaded the flat file and I check it in Seller Central, the External Product ID Type always changed to EAN. I'm not sure what's happening, the UPC/EAN number is the same.
I have used Inventory loader to delete and waited for more than 72 hours before re-upload, still cannot fix it.
I know that it doesn't matter as Amazon combined UPC & EAN, but still it is weird and I want to change it back to UPC as it may affect our internal inventory system. Does it happened to anyone and how can I change it back to UPC?

This is the first I have heard of an issue like this. My suggestion would be to check the codes in GS1 to see if they are indeed UPCs and not an EAN. Amazon verifies the product ID info against GS1's database, so I could see them changing it from UPC to EAN if that is what GS1 says it is.

Hi there @Seller_242awV5t4gI7A,
Thanks for reaching out with your concerns with your GTIN changing for this ASIN. I'd like to investigate to see what we can provide. I suspect that @Seller_f4a7xAPCCSMqD may have a good idea but I'd need to review your most recent Amazon Seller Support case to get a better sense of what escalation options exist. Thank you for your understanding.
