Ongoing listing hijack - Sent in circles by support with no help

A third party has amended listings for my products on the following ASINs:

B0G6SV9PY2

B0FP79NQBW

B0G6SV3J6D

I am the Amazon Brand Registry Owner and manufacturer for these products.

The 3rd party creator of these listings is falsely claiming to be the brand owner. This is a clear product detail page abuse / listing hijack.

I have followed Amazon’s instructed processes from https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk/seller-forums/discussions/t/964db033-4857-4b27-b3df-bdcdc300e3d5 and am now stuck in a support loop:

Report Abuse → Ticket 12205412252 → sent to Brand Registry

Brand Registry → Case 12343207812 → sent to Seller Support

Seller Support → Case 12352404502 → sent back to Report Abuse

Each time I have to re-provide the same information only to be eventually told, you don't need to follow this reporting route until I have eventually been sent back to where I started.

Amazon is allowing

False brand ownership claims

Incorrect product representation

But refusing to amend it claiming that it will confuse customers.

I need this escalated to the Catalog / Product Detail Page Abuse team immediately.

Can a moderator or Amazon rep take ownership of this case and route it correctly? @Julia_Amazon@Julia_Amzn ?

This does not read like a seller who has skipped process. It reads like a seller who has followed multiple Amazon-directed routes and been sent in a loop between teams.

The key issue here seems to be that there are really two separate questions:

  • Who is entitled to verify brand ownership and product detail page control for these ASINs?
  • Which team has authority to actually reverse the incorrect brand ownership / listing contribution once the abuse is identified?

From your timeline, the seller has already been routed through:

  • Report Abuse → Ticket 12205412252
  • Brand Registry → Case 12343207812
  • Seller Support → Case 12352404502

So the problem is no longer lack of reporting. The problem is that each channel is redirecting without resolving the underlying ownership dispute on the detail pages.

The contradiction is quite clear:

  • the seller says they are the Brand Registry owner and manufacturer
  • a third party is allegedly asserting false brand ownership
  • Amazon acknowledges the issue enough to keep redirecting it
  • but no team is taking end-to-end ownership of verification and correction

That suggests a catalogue abuse / ownership verification case trapped in a support boundary problem, not a simple “use another reporting form” issue.

Could a moderator @NR_Amazon please escalate this directly to the Catalog / Product Detail Page Abuse or equivalent internal team that can:

  • verify the ASIN contribution history for B0G6SV9PY2, B0FP79NQBW, and B0G6SV3J6D
  • confirm which account is asserting brand ownership
  • compare that against the Brand Registry record
  • and confirm which team is authorised to amend the detail pages where a false ownership claim exists

At this stage, sending the seller back to Report Abuse or back to Seller Support would just repeat the same failed loop.

Thanks.

Hello @Seller_T6vbj3gsQamoq

My name is Ana, from the community manager team. Thank you for your detailed post and for providing all the relevant case IDs and ASINs.

I understand how frustrating it must be to follow every process Amazon has directed you to, only to be sent in a loop between teams without resolution. I want you to know that I've reviewed your situation thoroughly.

I can confirm that your brand "mxxxxc" is registered in Amazon's Brand Registry and that you hold the appropriate rights as the brand owner. I've also reviewed the ASINs you mentioned — B0G6SV9PY2, B0FP79NQBW, and B0G6SV3J6D — and I can see that these listings are currently attributed to another brand, even different from the one that created the listings, but which is not related to either brand.

I have contacted the appropriate team that handles brand syncs corrections. They will review the ASIN contribution history, verify brand ownership records, and work on correcting the brand attribution on these listings.

Please allow 5–7 business days for the specialized team to review and action this. In the meantime, please do not open additional cases on this matter, as it may cause further confusion in the routing.

I will follow up on this thread once I have an update. If you have any additional information or questions, feel free to reply here.

Kind regards,

Ana
