Pack Station in Germany
What are they and why are they so popular. I previously had minor issues shipping to them in that hermes would not deliver to them since they class it as a PO BOX. So I used Royal Mail who partner with GLS. This had been working up until recently when 3-5 of my pack station parcels have been sent back (and then back to GLS). 3 of which I was unaware there was a problem even when the customers filed a-z’s which is partly my fault in not responding to them as quickly. My account is now under review. There had been two other cases recently that did not escalate as I simply refunded them. All of them have one thing in common, pack station.
Ideally, I’d avoid all Pack Station orders. What’s the best way to cancel them? I don’t understand why it’s so popular in Germany but I can survive without them.
Now my account is under review and I have already appealed without actually being “suspended”. But moving forward I need a plan of aciton to deal with pack station. Are their couriers who ship from UK seller to German customer without a partner to Pack Station addresses? If I were to cancel all the pack station orders, I’d be suspended for other reasons. Seems I can’t win.

I am also having issues with Pack Stations. Unfortunately, they are very popular in Europe, especially in German-speaking countries and Amazon doesn’t offer sellers the option to refuse a shipment to these addresses.
Based on my own experience, it’s the best to ship there without a signature confirmation on delivery.

Packstation is a locker system operated by Deutsche Post / DHL.
Only letters by Deutsche Post and parcels by DHL can be delivered to Packstation. All others will fail.

If you have a .DE Amazon account (or full EU one), you can exclude Packstation from your shipping template. Not sure why it’s not an option to exclude etc.

In the past we had issues with Packstations. Sending an order where a signature is required is always a problem.

My Account is under review because of 3-4 a-z all with pack stations. I’ve appealed twice unsuccessfully but technically, I havent been suspended. I had a missed call from amazon DE and my silent business partner had a call and couldn’t take it.
Is there a contact number to reach them as I’m not sure what I’m appealing when it’s a review. Whe nI do appeal, I get a standard reply.
Don’t really know what’s going on and I feel like giving up on Amazon Germany really which is a shame as it’s the easiest and most active market for me after the UK.
