UTR to company number
Hello, I want to change my business from a sole trader to a limited company. for this, I registered my ltd in the UK. Now I want to update this into my account but when I go to the identity information a sole trader utr is already added and I am not able to edit that utr to my new company utr.
I also emailed the verification team and they asked me to provide business tax registration by hmrc. I have this for my limited company so should I provide my new company tax registration certificate?

You need to get every document ready like your new bank account, companies House docs etc, withdraw any money and then request the change. Your account will go into verification once you change which could take a while

Reading the original post, op is just trying to change the UTR number from their personal one to the company one which is in incorrect
It needs to be a full change of legal entity
Presumably as stated, its a reverification of sole trader required first possibly prompted by the op trying to change personal details
