Tracked 48
Good evening
Sorry for the basic question, I very stupidly did not realise that Royal Mail signed for reduced their compensation and have been buying this through Amazon for the majority of the books I sell, anyway now I know I would like to use Tracked 48 but don't have an option to buy on Amazon, if I purchase from RM online and enter the tracking number will this be OK, or is it going to affect my metrics?, or can I get tracked 48 added to Amazon postage options, I am registered as a business but only have the basic account (never went professional as worried I might have to be verified again)
Also do you enter the spaces on the tracking number

we buy tracked 48 off Amazon and have no issues VTR was always very high.
I think you can link your Royal Mail account to Amazon.
Also I dont believe upgrading to the pro plan would put you back into verfication

I don't have a Royal mail account and don't have the option to buy tracked 48 on Amazon which is why I am concerned as my only current option is to just buy on the RM website and then add tracking on Amazon

@Seller_ZJhFeE3tNKzfh is correct - upgrading to the pro plan will not trigger reverification, just need to remember that they will charge you £30 a month fee.
I'm not totally sure as I don't have an order to pack today (am also a bookseller), but I don't think tracked 48 is available if you're not on pro plan. I actually use Yodel for items under 1kg, as cheaper than Amazon's buy shipping for small parcel size.
If you do use RM, then when you confirm shipment and add tracking, you input it with NO hyphens or spaces.

Hi If you buy postage off Royal Mail click and drop , simply add the Tracking no given (as I do ) to your Amazon order

If you use the RM Click & Drop website you can integrate with Amazon (and other platforms if you use them) and it uploads the tracking details automatically.
You register for an account and pay as you go so no account terms or anything but you still get the Tracked 48 and Tracked 24 options among all of the other services.
On the pro plan you still wont get Tracked 48 as an option on amazon, the only way to get that is if you have a full RM account.

I use rm click & drop tracked 24/48 all timer, no issues and just upload it to the order.

you can indeed manually add the tracking number
or if you setup a click and drop account, you can import the mailing details directly from Amazon and have it automatically mark as dispatched and add the tracking number
