Prime Scammer Phone Call BEWARE
Just had a call from my mom (who also sells on Amazon) she received a phone call supposedly from Amazon Prime telling her that she MUST sign up for prime/money was going to be extracted from her bank. Automated call. When she pressed the option 1 the call went through to a scammer with a heavy Nigerian accent.
They called on a number that Amazon doesn’t have.

Yes, I have had one of those. I just hung up. Given I have a new number only recently updated on Amazon these phishing calls have to originate from within Amazon’s workers.

I have had 3 calls this morning (and many more over the past few weeks), telling me that my Amazon Prime will be auto renewed and money taken from my bank account. Each time I have just hung up. The first few times I checked to make sure I DIDN’T have Prime, but now I don’t bother. Wish they would stop though.
