FBA Fee for stock units under £20

Any sellers that have stock units under £20. After payment settlement my fee's are over 50% of all sales this amount just appears outragous?

If any sellers can help with this or if there is something that can be done to reduce these fees. I have seen there is an enrolment fee of £25 to lower costs yet whenever i try to enrol i get a error page, secondly trying to talk to Amazon support is almost impossible or generic replys.

To reduce the percentage, you need to either increase your price or lower your costs.

If you can't increase the price, ie you will be uncompetitive, this means that FBA does not suit your product (eg too bulky but light).

The £25 (+vat) fee you mentioned is likely to be the Professional Selling Plan. This does reduce Amazon's commission but the FBA fees will not change. But it could be enough to make your item viable.

You generally need to sell more than 34–35 items per month (in the UK) to financially benefit from the Amazon Professional selling plan. This is the break-even point where the flat monthly subscription fee becomes cheaper than paying the per-item fees of the Individual plan.

My experience is exactly the same and was shocked initially thinking it couldn't be right, but I think this is the part of Amazon no one selling courses online tells you about! Good luck 🙏

have you try worked out how much the fees will be if you doing FBM yourself? the charge for packing is the time that you will spend doing it, so is your time compute to that amount? Postage is roughly the same whethe ryou do FBA or FBM depends on volume.. do the calcuation then you can compare the cost..

All my FBA items are under £10 many under £5 & my fees average 58% but Ive been doing this a long time and make it work.

Selling anything under £5 my buying cost needs to be under 30p & Ive always managed to make a net margin of 25 to 50%.
