Whats days do Amazon consider working days?

Hi all,

Can you please tell me what Amazon considers working days on Amazon for seller fulfilled?

Mon-Friday?

Not just for the UK but also all European countries?

What about Christmas day and boxing day in Spain for example?

Many thanks

Amazon does consider itself a 24/7 365 days a year operation . So really not sure what are clear business days . Certain issues like responses times are irrespective of whether it is a Sunday or public holiday . Even though Amazon states response times are not part of the metrics .

Postage times may be different .

Maybe contact Seller support and see what they say , though bear in mind you could get conflicting replies from different support agents . So maybe compare notes with other sellers who have also contacted support and see if there is a common time thread to what Amazon regards as business days.

Hiya,
Any day with “day” in it.

You are expected to answer all customer messages within 24 hours regardless of what day it is, this includes Christmas day and Boxing day and is regardless of country.

They make exceptions for the handling time of packages, they still have to be “dispatched” on time (they exclude weekends and national holidays from this but it’s purely down to the “major couriers” at any given time, so if Hermes randomly decides to work Christmas day next year, expect to have to work it too (I’ve never actually seen this happen but it would be…interesting).

In Spain, Boxing Day is not a public holiday. We got hit with late dispatches over Christmas for Spain because they were not dispatched on the 26th. You need to extend handling times when there is a UK bank holiday that is not shared by Spain, France, Italy etc.
