Unable to change phone number

Hi,

When I attempt to change my phone number in the login settings it refuses it because it says it is already linked to my regular buying/client Amazon account.

It says that if I persue then it will shut down my other account (the regular buyer amazon).

Has anyone faced this issue? Any ways around it ? I don't want to need to have a seocnd phone number.

Please help;
