buyer refunded item still available for pick-up
Just venting, don't expect help. Buyer filed an A-Z, I appealed, Amazon refunded anyway & close case, even though the book is still sitting at her PO awaiting pick-up, as the tracking shows. Her PO doesn't answer the phone, I'm currently trying to get USPS to send it back.

Keep trying!
If it's a scammer though they probably jumped in the car and headed to the PO the minute the refund came through.

I've noticed that after the official USPS 2 week "available for pick-up" window ends, Amazon automatically updates their tracking for the order with the status "Package is returning to seller."
This is only reflected in Amazon's tracking results on the Seller Central order page - when you look up the tracking on the USPS website, the latest status is still "Available for pick-up/Reminder to Schedule Redelivery of your item".
AZ policy states that you will automatically lose a claim if the tracking shows the package is returning to you.
So thanks to Amazon fiddling with their tracking results to conveniently state that the package is returning to you now (even though it isn't), you will automatically lose a claim for a package that's been available for pick-up at the post office for 2 weeks.

Go to USPS.com and file a claim with them. Make claim you want to make sure package is returned to you the seller. send a picture of invoice and a-z claim. Their post office will make note for returns from that address. May cancel their po box if they have one.
