Right item sent, wrong item returned
hello… any help would be appreciated
I have sold a dvd for around £50.
Sent and delivered no problem.
As protection I used an old card slipcase from kong skull island to protect the dvd.
Return started wrong item sent.
Messaged 3 times, no response.
Item delivered back to me.
And obviously the £50 dvd has been replaced with the King Kong remake.
Any idea what I do next ?

A well known scam, sadly - returning a different item, and something cheaper. The fact that you have messaged 3 times and no response, indicates to me that the buyer knows what they are doing.
You could try sending them photos of the item you received back, and report the customer - it might be that they have done this sort of thing before and if there is a record then they may lose their account - but don't hold your breath.

Apply a 99% refund deduction when refunding and upload images showing incorrect item. If it was a refund on first scan return then you need to file a Safe-T claim.

Happens all the time. It's called a 'switcheroo'. Don't bother engaging with the customer.
Raise a case with seller support with photographic evidence etc. and make sure to mention the word switcheroo. You should get reimbursed.

Hi < i've a similar case , they gave them a refund on first scan , but the system wouldn't allow me to raise a saftey claim , its been on going since December , i get a mail every couple of weeks saying that they are looking at it
