Amazon Brand Registry DECLINED due to abusive behaviour
Amazon Brand Registry (UK) declined my application to enroll my brand because “we reserve the right to decline applications where we have identified that the applicant has been involved in abusive conduct on our websites.”
I appealed through Jeff Bezos and the Executive Support Selling team said that I would be able to re-apply and that I would be accepted.
I then re-applied and was rejected again “after a thorough review” and they are unable to “address this decision any further.”
They say I may re-submit my brand application if I have met the brand requirements (but I have) and I keep going back and forth in this matter.
Can someone please provide some help if they know what to do here…

Meeting the requirements to submit a brand application is not the same as having that brand application accepted. It sounds pretty serious stuff, to be honest and not something I have seen before. You don’t deny that you were involved in abusive conduct so, if it is true, I think they have made a final decision and that’s it, unfortunately. Not sure anybody here will be able to help?

By “abusive” they may simply mean that you have “abused” their rules and policies, not that you have sworn at them or someone else! To get brand registry, you apparently must have your account in good standing on all marketplaces. Have you any current or past problems in any Amazon marketplace that would constitute such “abuse”?

Actually I have just read that other thread and also note that from your other topic that your account was deactivated in August I think? through being related to another account? I may not have that exactly right but I wonder whether this could be your issue?

You can’t be enrolled in brand registry if any if your accounts are suspended - by accounts i mean .fr .de .it or .es as well as uk accounts

The first account you had which was suspended (a different company) did that list this product in the brand register or attempt to and did you have any other brands registered for the “other company”?

Have you by any chance sold products to wholesalers and other Amazon sellers - and then contacted them and told them to stop selling your product as you want to be the only seller??

Thanks @Retro_Emporium - I had a 2nd account that needed to be closed before being re-activated on my main account. Submitted an appeal, a POA and now it’s solved.
Thanks @olderithian - I also had an Amazon Germany account deactivated because I didn’t have a VAT number - I have one now, submitted a POA and it’s activated. What should I do here? Just quit and move on? Find an appeal agency?

@PeterT - The suspended account was never used and did not have any other brands registered. It literally didn’t even get verified.
@Ninja_o_Clan_Ginger - no none of that stuff is being done on my account.

@SuperfoodMarket thanks for this - nope! I did have an IP complaint, but Amazon agreed with me and re-instated my ASIN.

@PeterT - thanks for the help. I checked in with Amazon on this and emailed them and they sent this: Hello, We could not find a Seller Central account associated with this email address. So I think it’s done.
Does anybody know of an appeal agency that could help with this?
I’m happy to pay to get this dealt with…
