My account has been linked to my old account that was closed with CASE 6031116572

Hello,

My Amazon.co.uk Seller account has been deactivated in accordance with section 3 of Amazon’s Business Solutions Agreement.

I am an artist. 1 year ago, I wanted to open an individual account to sell my paintings. I tried to open an account in an extremely amateurish way. Then, I had got a business opportunity, I closed my individual account with CASE 6031116572. Because I founded a company and I was going to do my work through that company.

I have been selling furniture for 1 year. Unfortunately, I received an email on Friday, June 25th. My new account is linked with my old account. But I had already closed my old account with CASE 6031116572. However, I don’t understand why I am having this problem. I sent an appeal to Amazon but it was not accepted. What do you recommend to me? Why is my new account considered linked to an old account that I closed?

I will appreciate your helping…

Can you elaborate on that case and what reference Amazon made to actually closing that account?

I think you will have to reactivate the first one, then close the 2nd one and get the first changed to a business account

Ok so from what I understand, your old account isn’t ‘closed’ because you requested Amazon close it, it is ‘inactive’ because you failed to verify the account, which means the account is actually suspended.

Amazon will view your new account as an attempt to circumvent the suspension of your original account.

What you will need to do is reactivate your old account by completing the account verification that you failed previously. Once you’ve done that, you can appeal the suspension of the new account.

So your old account is now active/unsuspended so you need to appeal your other account saying that the issue with your old account is now resolved and can they please now reactivate your new account.

Do you have this option on your account health page to request a call from the account health team? 24

I had the same issue. I deleted the Amazon account and informed them in my action plan. They came back and said they don’t have enough information to reopen the account. My thinking was “delete the offending account so it can no longer be linked” I am waiting for an account health team to give me the information I am lacking.
