Ungating Application was rejected
Hi all, I am sort of new selling on amazon. I bought 2 pack nivea cream that has a case of 6 each (making it 12 case) and 1 pack of toy (12 case) from Harrison direct and i sent my application with the documentation to amazon to get ungated. unfortunately amazon rejected my ungating application on the basis that the 12 case does not qualify for their minimum of 10 units. I have reached out to Harrison direct and they advised that amazon’s decision is incorrect as other sellers have been using the same quantity that i bought to get ungated. please I need advise as to whether amazon were wrong in their decision?
Also note that the quantity on the invoice is showing as 2 nivea and 1 toy.

Does the invoice state that each case has 6?
You could try by providing photos of the case which shows the quantity
Also what was the reason provided by Amazon for the denial?

As a new seller you are very unlikely to get approval to sell either toys or topicals/cosmetics, no matter how much stock you bought. You will probably have to wait about 6 months after account verification, and build up a good account health and performance rating selling other goods

To be approved for Toys category for the christmas period, you need to be established seller with a good history and feedback ratio to back you up.
Over last few years we’ve seen many long term sellers being kicked out of toys and games category for christmas period for various reasons.
You have to understand Amazons point of view on that… This category is the most lucrative one from October till boxing day, so many con artist wants to get there to scam as many buyers as they can and then disappear with the cash leaving Amazon to deal with this mess, and thats why Amazon is very selective in deciding who can sell there.
I regards to cosmetics and health and beauty category, seriously, we are living in pandemic, Amazon will not allow you to join there without a good sales history or backing from big established manufacturers, all for the same reason as the toys category.
