Incorrect estimated delivery dates

Hi all i have had this issue before but i can’t remember if i got it fixed or it auto fixed itself.

All my items are set up for 1 day dispatch time and therefore usually the estimated delivery dates are usually 2-3 working days into the future. This was the case on Friday and i had my busiest day for months. However early yesterday i checked a regular selling item to see i was no longer winning the buy box. Theres 4 sellers on the item and i have gone from having the fastest estimated delivery time to having the slowest. So i checked a few more items and everything im selling currently has 9th December as the estimated delivery date!!! where as it should be showing as 29-30th nov or if taking into account some delay for Royal Mail strikes it should have maybe the end of next week. But the 9th is nearly two weeks away.

I cant see any recent issues on my account health that could be effecting anything and i certainly havent changed anything shipping wise in the settings. The other sellers who are normally slower than me have a mixture of dates some 1st-3rd and another 3-5th December. So it isnt a blanket estimated delay for everyone due to the royal mail strikes.

I have contacted seller support. but instead of getting automated replies about something totally not related, i had no response at all and its been over 24 hours

im sure i have seen this discussed before but can’t remember the fix, hoping someone out there does remember
thanks

3rd would be reasonable if you dont have a quick dispatch rate. But the 9th is just crazy!

Just had my first order in 24 hours. I checked on it while still pending and still had estimated date it was showing customers as the 9th December.
Its now in the unshipped section and has Dispatch by 28th delivery by 29th.
So it only seems to be showing customers its gonna take nearly 2 weeks when they order but the dates havent actually changed of what they expect from me.

We are struggling with this currently. Shipping Setting Automation is selected, we ship everything RM 48, 1 day handling time. We also offer Next Day guaranteed post BUT the estimated dates on all our listings are 7+ days.

I have been arguing with Seller Support on the issue and they say that they are taking other issues Ito account with the estimated dates, but all they are doing is screwing over 3rd party sellers.

This is usually one of our busiest periods selling tartan accessories prior to Burns Night (Jan 25th) but pages are showing ‘fastest’ delivery as Jan 26th/27th AFTER that date so our sales have tanked when customers could have the bloody thing next day!

Thank you, unfortunately ours is 67% :unamused: We are trying to send stuff FBA to get round this but so much of our stuff is personalised which obviously doesn’t work with FBA. What to do?

Suspiciously, it appears that any extra bulk added to the estimated delivery dates for us has now been removed and our sales have increased due to a more accurate reflection of the delivery time. Kicking off does pay then! Now watch our metrics tank when RM fails to deliver everything on time
