Need Advice: Hijacked Listing and fake review

Hi everyone,

I’m a brand seller on Amazon with a pending trademark application and brand registry. Recently, another seller hijacked my listing, using my product page to sell their own product. Although I reported this to Amazon, it’s been more than 10 days, and the issue is still ongoing. The case is open, but no action has been taken yet.

The hijacker eventually left one of my listings , but right after that, I received a bad review. I’m confident that this review was for the hijacker’s product, not mine. I sell a high-quality product, and I’m the brand owner. The review says things that don’t match my product at all.

I’ve tried to get Amazon support to remove the review, but they aren’t helping. The problem is that the buyer never purchased from me, and they received a fake product. I’m now stuck with a damaging review that doesn’t reflect my product or service.

Has anyone else encountered a similar issue? How did you handle it? Is there any way to get this review removed?

I’d appreciate any advice or suggestions on how to deal with this situation.

Thanks in advance

Hello @Seller_UA3OOJD5yRj7x,

Can you please share with me the case ID of your feedback removal request?

Once I have the case ID, I'll have a look at it and see our options to help you out.

Another seller is using my registered trademark, which is also registered as a brand with Amazon. I have provided all the necessary documentation that Amazon has requested to verify this but they have done nothing and will not even reply properly to my repeated requests.

In October 2024, Amazon requested that I provide documentation to verify the directors of my company, which I duly did and they confirmed shortly after that my company was activated as a seller on Amazon. A week later they told me that I had not passed the verification, without giving a reason, and de-activated my account. I have complained about this and requested reasons without getting any satisfaction.

It is obvious to me that my account has been de-activated in order to favour the other seller who has stolen my trademark.

I have requested Amazon to take action, without any result. I have informed them that they are acting illegally.
