Amazon have removed

Hi all,

I’ve got 1 products now that Amazon have removed and they say I need to submit:

(a) Genuine product images or packaging that shows the address where the brand can be contacted.

(b) EC Declaration of Conformity (This document can be obtained from the brand owner, EU importer or EU authorized representative) in line with applicable directives:

I have sent these to Amazon but they just send me the same email back. I have opened cases and tried to get help as to what is wrong with my certificate and pictures but they just send same email.

Has anyone had this problem and knows how to solve it. My products actually do not need these and I have explained that to amazon but got no where so now I’m trying to do what they want as I have the document but it’s from my manufacturer and not my own brand. But I have read that should be okay?

Any help would be greatly appreciated?

This is the full email I get and keep getting.

Hello from Amazon Selling Partner Support,

Reply to this case with the following documents for review:

(a) Genuine product images or packaging that shows (1) CE marking, (2) Brand owner’s name or registered trademark, (3) the model number and (4) the address where the brand can be contacted.

(b) EC Declaration of Conformity (This document can be obtained from the brand owner, EU importer or EU authorized representative) in line with applicable directives:

Hello @Aishbha,

Thank you for your post.

It looks like you have concerns regarding a product compliance request. Let's work together in finding a solution.

As Selling Partner Support told you, those are the documents they require to prove compliance of a product.

What I would recommend to you is to verify the information related to the brand owner and manufacturer, as there often happens to be some mismatch between the product detail page, the pictures, and the EC Declaration of Conformity.

I would also recommend that you check with a legal party what kind of EC Declaration of Conformity is accepted in the EU, since this kind of document is really strict in terms of requirements.

I appreciate you providing updates about your account. Please continue to post any relevant information in relation to this topic so it can be addressed at a later time.

Have a good day,

Camille.
