MAIN Image suppressed

Thanks in advance for reading;

I have followed every single guideline concerning image requirements. I understand that the MAIN image cannot contain texts, graphics, watermarks and logos. However, my logo is manufactured/branded on the product, therefore permanently affixed to the product.

It would be impossible to upload a main image without the logo being included in it.

I’m planning on listing in Home & Kitchens.

I was wondering if anyone has encountered this and perhaps the best way to resolve it.

Hello,

I don’t have a solution I’m afraid but was just searching the forum for a problem similar to mine. Did you get this resolved at all? We sell funny greeting cards and naturally the joke part of the card is written in text - the rest of the card is an image. Amazon are slowly pulling random ones and suppressing them - and it’s taking 20 messages plus to get support to understand that the text is PART of the product!! We are having a couple that have not been resolved at all. That we cannot put a picture of the product without text because it would not reflect the actual product seems totally irrelevant!

I eventually had to use a different picture to comply with their requirements. Spoke to SS and they just kept referring me to the image requirement guidance page :confused:

The more frustrating part is, I see other sellers in the same category with their logo and texts in the main image. Plus the main image wasn’t pure white background either. Some were lifestyle pictures. Am i missing something here?

We have had more than 100 images of t-shirts suppressed because Amazon bots think we have put extra graphics on them, even though it is actually the design. Always on white shirts

They are definitely doing the rounds - I appreciate that bots can’t always get it right and there are sellers not following guidelines but it’s ridiculous that when you contact SS and explain that it’s part of your product AND you are fully compliant with image guidelines that they can’t figure it out. I have literally addressed each guideline and explained how/why we are compliant. Way too easy for them to skim read and send back image requirement guidelines rather than actually trying to think about it for a second.

As you say worse than anything is that most sellers have the image the same way I do in our category so it’s completely random who is being hit. It seems once you start getting a couple (even though they are incorrect) you become a target as I’m getting new ones everyday currently.
