Account Locked with no info

Hello, my name is Gina Ursu and I write this post for my boyfriend that can’t post here because his account was locked. A week ago he create an account to start selling. 2 days after the list of his first product, his account was locked.
When he tried to log in he receive this: Your account has been locked for misuse of Amazon’s services. We have sent you an email with additional information.
He never received an email from amazon.
Please if somebody knows something about this let me know.

This isn’t amazon - just other sellers

If he has misused amazon services he may not get reactivated

Did they send you the email address to release any funds ? Check junk in the email address linked to the account

Did you create a new account on here just to access help ? If so, are you sharing same computer etc ?

I really don’t think that his account will have been fully verified, because as you say

we want to make it like a family business, we want to live from these.

Did you open the correct type of account - a Business Seller Account, or did you open an Individual Account ?
Also, if you have now both opened an account and are using the same email and shared computer there may be a problem.

I don’t use the same mail.
I just create the account and I was verrify by an amazon employer with video call.
My partner say he was verify only buy send papers to amazon not by video call, maybe this is the problem?
He open an individual account.
How he can contact amazon no see exact what happen?

This sounds ominous, and I suspect it will be very difficult to regain access to the account unless your partner is totally honest about whatever has happened. Clearly, something has.

I find it hard to believe that he did not receive the follow-up email from Amazon. As things stand, I doubt that anyone here will be able to help, as none of us know why the account was locked.

This is why you shouldn’t put all your eggs in one basket. Amazon has policy very unfavourable to sellers and can lock you out at anytime for any reason. Furthermore the payment are extremely slow and take over a month, whereas shopify pays you instantly. Amazon is earning interest on holding my funds. Product I bought in July are selling in November and I still don’t have the funds - 6 month of ordering, shipping, advertising and still waiting for the money.

Ebay is much cheaper and you don’t have to do pesky refunds on ebay. Amazon send out my beautiful products in luxury packaging, the customer returns it with damaged packaging then amazon expects me to pick up the costs of shipping it to my house, waiting in all day for 1 product that was returned to be delivered, then i have to take the loss and hassle and expense!
