Address given as Big Yellow storage
Hi
I have received an order where the customer gives the delivery address as this storage facility in SE London.
Is this likely to be a valid order or not?
I remember reading a thread about this recently but I can’t find it or quite remember what the advice was.
Thanks for your help.

Yes, it’s probably a valid order.
Lots of small companies and the like use them these days.
Also private individuals do.
They have facilities in place at most of them now to receive mail on your behalf.

I’ve said this on other similar thread in the past but if we order from anywhere the delivery address is that of a self-storage company that’s based in the same building, this is because they own the reception area where parcels would be delivered to.
So you can assume that such an address is genuine.
On the other hand most big-time scammers would aim to use shared addresses such as this in order to avoid prosecution.
This can also apply to almost any residential address though so just presume it’s genuine.
