What's the best work around for fixing Flat.File Title error?
After 11 messages with Seller Support I got - We understand that you are having issues with your feed upload. Being that the file has been created from a third-party feed, we cannot troubleshoot the issues that are being experienced.
Basically, we created an ASIN 2 weeks ago, we own the EAN from GS1. Now we are trying to update the ASIN title as we have improved it and get the following error message:
The SKU data provided is different from what’s already in the Amazon catalog. The standard_product_id data provided matches ASIN xxxxxxxx, but the following data is different from what’s already in the Amazon catalog. If this is the right ASIN for your product, update your data to match what’s in the Amazon catalog. If it’s not the right ASIN, make sure that your data for standard_product_id is correct.
Anyone have a work around to this problem?
Feeling way more confident you happy bunch will be able to offer more help than seller support. Cheers!

Hi it sounds more as if your doing something wrong than an error can you give a little more info;
*What attributes are you trying to change?
*Are you trying to update it from the third party API or manually flat?

This error means you are trying to change an attribute that is locked. (most common with the brand but it can happen to other fields too)
The only way to change such attributes is to use the “fix a product page” feature on the seller support contact page.
