VAT Refund for selling fees

Hi,

I’ve applied for a VAT refund on selling fees which is apparently being processed by the relevant team. However, it has been 2 months since I applied. I’m just wondering how long did it take for others to receive their VAT refund?

Thanks for your help

Hi,
Quick question, we are not VAT rated, where do you find out this information regarding whether they have added VAT to your selling fees?

remember to add all your reverse charged invoices onto your turnover for your vat threshold (so all your referal fees, fba fees etc)

Last year it was about 2 months, this year I’ve heard of 4-6 months.

I am VAT registered and I am registered with VCS with amazon since that time. I dont know why last month i received email that my VAT number is rejected ny Amazon and after few days i sent Amazon VAT certificate and they sorted that. Amazon charged me VAT for those days on seller fee. I want to know how to claim that VAT ? Do i need to claim that from UK as i normally do for other invoices or I need to claim from Amazon as they are invoiced from europe. Do i also need to mention this in my VAT return when they ask if I have bought anything from europe.
