I can see why Sellers are leaving Amazon for Ebay and alike
Just trying to sort out this stickerless to stickered for a few of my old listings.
The robot Seller Assistant could not help so I had to go to Google because there Robot AI is far more responsive and gives better answers.
I found the answer and it said create a new "condition" for each of the items.
I tried got a usual threatening error message from Amazon " You are attempting to amend a listing you have had nothing to do with before blah blah blah"
Its my listing, its just old and before brand was set in stone.
So now instead of being able to send stock I have to wait for the case message tennis trying to sort out. Or lose all my reviews and have to create a new listing.
Then lets talk about trying to add a varation to a listing, first once you get past the Seller Support Ai robot to create a case, you then have 1,2,3 robot answers before you might get a human to help - they then sort it but tell you to wait at least 5 days for the error to be amended. So thats 5 days before I can add, 5 days of having stock sat here not for sale.
Honestly I am at a gast with Amazon lately. Do you think they are deliberately trying to drive Sellers away????

They are not trying to get sellers away but they still want to take all money from sellers with frauds . refunds , and many other ways.
Amazon is not here for long, there are many many platform with good traffic and sales but amazon still living in dream .. Not long i bet

the answer is simple, ship them yourself instead of fba

If buyers were made aware that the buy box is not in their interests then things may change. It's common knowledge that the best deals for the consumer are buried on at least page 2 or 3, the first page is sponsored or other ad driven offerings. If buyers ever look past convenience then we have a chence, how we do this I have no idea though!

just create a new sku for the ASIN, that should work to put in the sticker and dimension.

Whereas our ebay sales declined 12 months they are booming now and our amazon store is dead. Things seemed to have totally flipped as amazon used to be our biggest online store.

Same here. Amazon used to be around 90% of my sales and eBay about 10%, but now it’s almost the opposite. My Amazon sales have dropped significantly.

I think this is largely down to the catalogue being a complete mess.
I've been searching for a number of my items in BMVD and they are virtually impossible to find.
The correct UK ASINs are often buried deep to the point of invisibility. On the other hand, bogus duplicates, public domain rip-offs, US editions and foreign language versions along with almost completely unrelated near-matches dominate search results. Not to mention Kindle, Amazon movies, Amazon Music and Audible. Advanced search is a joke.
I am currently removing all my 'Amazon specific' stock (ie, common but popular titles that used to sell well before the catalogue collapse. It won't be long before the only sellers in BMVD are dodgy dropshippers and and the megasellers racing each other to the bottom.
If the shambles that is Amazon's current catalogue is an indication of where AI is taking us, the future looks grim... :(

same here other sales channels are all on the up while Amazon continues to decline.
I cannot moan at buyers not buying here any more as I no longer even buy here myself trying to find what you are after is a nightmare having to wade through pages of fakes or irrelevant pages.

I totally agree
At least on eBay it's my listing, my photos ,my selling price !
I have also removed a huge chunk of BMVD that were good sellers in the past
I have begun to feel crowded out by the usual suspects selling New items from 20 plus years ago at very inflated prices
With interesting feedback !
As a buyer I have almost given up trying to find non US editions

I prefer Ebay as well, but beware, once you upload an image, it becomes Ebay image and any other seller can use it if they wish. Found this out the hard way with copycat sellers.

Yes , I know what you mean
I have a few Graphics I can use

I've came the other way as to be quite honest Ebay's fees were becoming a joke, It was gettng to the stage where on a £20 sale I was coming out with less than £10, then less than £8 after postage

I wonder if the people running Amazon these days are aware of the abysmal state of the catalogue?
If they are, they should be ashamed of what they have allowed to happen on their watch
As a seller in BMVD I have pretty much given up hope of Amazon ever getting its act together and cleaning up the mess

Just a heads up for fellow ebayers...
We got an eBay return on Friday with a returns slip in it.
On that slip is a QR code telling the buyer that if they scan that code when posting they will get a refund at first scan. This is the first time I've come accross this
I've done a bit of digging and can only find reference to it on .com so it might only be an experiment in the USA but god forbid they might be thinking of rolling this pernicious policy out accross the site.

yes they are
the worst platform on internet
on ebay you can request british/irish rep
here y ou are in hands of indians who get paid to click "close case" as soon as possible

I do not think they want small sellers
