How do the Disbursements Work -Confused
As the title says, I’m a little confused as to how the disbursements work.
I’ve been selling on Amazon since the 28th May 2018, so I’m pretty new at this.
In the first month I’ve had sales totalling a little over 1000 pounds, yet I’ve only been paid out around 120 pounds from Amazon for these sales.
I know there is a delay between completing a sale and receiving the payout and I have asked Seller Support about this too, but these figures don’t seem right to me.
I am requesting a disbursement on a daily basis, but the amount shown as available and what I actually get always changes once the payout is made. The funds always seem to become unavailable after a payout is requested.
Take last week for example. On Thursday I had a balance of 405 available for disbursement. This stayed the same until the money hit my account. I was paid 53 pounds and the rest is now showing as unavailable.
I’m trying to work out how the disbursements are calculated, but I can’t seem to figure it out.

Welcome to The Forum. As you are a new seller, Amazon will withhold funds until they are happy with your status as a new seller. On your Statement View page, if you look at the bottom, the figure available should have a little query mark against it. If you click on it, it will say what has happened. It is a standard process that Amazon apply. It is not questioning your seller credentials. In most cases, this process is removed sometime around 30 days or just after, but it can be longer. Also, disbursing on a daily basis is not helpful. Try and leave it on a weekly basis at least, if you can, or use the automatic disbursement which is every couple of weeks or so. Hope this helps but if not, contact Seller Support and they will be able to be more specific

All sellers registered to sell on Amazon after August 2016 have a permanent rolling reserve on their accounts and there is no way how to have this fixed. You will never be able to disburse the full amount, because the payments are based on the EDD. This will not improve over time.
Here is how it works:
