VAT invoices & shipment

Hi,

I've just activated the VAT calculation service, but I received the following message -

You remain responsible for the creation and provision of VAT invoices for shipments from your Fulfilment by Amazon eligible countries: Ireland, Republic of as you have not provided VIES/UK valid VAT number(s) for these countries. Refer VAT Calculation Services help page for more information.

Does anybody know what I am meant to do in this situation to ensure I stay compliant? I wasn't aware that the product could be bought in republic of Ireland anyway. Is there a way to turn this country off?
