Can't convert from FBA to FBM?
We’ve sold on Amazon(s) for 12+ years and always convert our FBA stock to FBM when it runs out before new stock reaches the warehouse… however for the last week nothing will convert to FBM.
Has anyone else got this problem? I’ve tried logging out, even tried different PCs but nothing works… I’ve raised a case and support have said it needs to go to their technical team as there are no errors generated, it just doesn’t work
Seems unlikely to be isolated to our ASINs or our account, has anybody else got this problem?

I’ve not had this problem, but can you “add another condition”, and set that one to FBM?
Any FBA items I have are always on a separate SKU linked together, so when FBA runs out, the merchant fulfilled is already there, and is already there for anyone that doesn’t use FBA.

I also have 2 SKUs one for FBM and one for FBA it is definitely allowed (though SFP and FBM is not)

If you submit a price inventory file for the SKU setting the inventory quantity to zero it can force an update. I think you need to enter the SKU, price, 0 in the quantity to set it to seller fulfilled. https://view.officeapps.live.com/op/view.aspx?src=https%3A%2F%2Fseller-templates.s3.amazonaws.com%2Fxlsx%2FUK%2FFlat.File.PriceInventory.uk.xlsx&wdOrigin=BROWSELINK

I agree with my headhurts
Setup 2 listings - one for FBA the other for FBM. They will need different SKU’s (yes you can do this it is not against policy)
Keep the FBM listings at 0 quantity. When you run out of FBA and awaiting stuff to reach warehouse, set the FBM listings to above 0 quantity, then when stuff reaches warehouse set back to 0. Much easier than switching from FBA to FBM and then back again.

Well unfortunately the above idea of using “Add a condition” has broken all those listings… I’ve sent stock back into FBA but the original “Fulfilled by Amazon” listings/conditions just don’t work anymore and the FBA stock isn’t available. So perhaps not adding the condition so much as having tried to convert the listings to fulfilled by Merchant? I don’t know. Nobody knows.
So in the inventory page it says I have stock and it’s fulfilled by Amazon. On the website page all it shows is my FBM offer. If I remove the FBM offer then the product becomes unavailable. What a joke.
Support’s only suggestion is to re-create the listings to “refresh them” - but apparently this can only be done by download file and all of these ASINs were manually created. I assumed there was a way to download the existing data and re-submit but apparently this can’t be done either and I have to download a template and re-populate everything?! Anyone know a quicker/easier way please, I’m sure you used to be able to download the existing data into a file (or maybe that was Vendor Central)??
Every day you just lose the will to carry on with the headache that is Amazon…
