What is the weight limit for Royal Mail TRACKED 48. Over 2kg?

Just curious as to the weight limit for TRACKED 48 services with Royal Mail. I always thought the weight limit for standard 48 was 2kg but noticed recently when I use Amazon Buy Shipping it is letting me purchase 48 shipping for items over 2kg. Is this an error or has Royal Mail increased the weight limit for TRACKED 48? Thanks
