Sent FBA Shipment To The Wrong Fulfilment Center
Hi all first time using the forum.
I had 2 packages to send to 2 different FBA centres (one Wales and one London).
The worker at the post office made a big mistake and entered the wrong delivery address in their systems for one of the parcels (So basically they sent both parcels to London fulfilment centre).
I contacted the courier but they could not stop the parcel before it arrived at the London fulfilment centre.
I’ve contacted seller support many times and they really haven’t given me any help as to what the process is for returning the package or redirecting it to the Wales centre.
Just want to know has this happened to anybody before? Will it be returned to me ? Will it be sent to the correct fulfilment centre ? or will this package just be lost without me ever being able to retrieve it?
Any advice, help or insights would be very helpful

It will probably be booked in in due course, and you will get a notification that you were a naughty seller who mustn’t commit this error again.
Keep a close eye on the consignment status.

I’m hoping you used ParcelForce because Royal Mail is not an approved inbound carrier.
Also ParcelForce prices are cheaper via courier comparison websites (Parcel2Go, ParcelHero etc) than buying direct or from Post Office.
Also using UPS through Amazon’s Partnered Courier is usually cheaper still at £4.25+VAT for a 15kg parcel.

Keep checking if I were you, and also ensure the case is kept open. Hopefully they will still check off the goods.
Let Amazon know by opening the case again, what the parcel tracking numbers are and provide link to Parcelforce, so make it easy for them.
If you want to use Parcelforce, use a broker, I use Despatch Bay as they are cheaper than going to the Post Office and inc £100 transit cover. They allow up to 30Kg parcels for a fixed price. Check sizes though, and if sending to Amazon lower sizes and weights allowed. Despatch Bay give you £25 free parcels to start you off on this link: https://despatchbay.com/start/22381
They also have Yodel, DX etc on there, if using a lot, call them for lower prices. They are good as they have a phone number helpline as well as online tickets. I’m not saying the best courier as I think all have issues, but good though.
Then you print off your own labels and if Parcelforce take to any Post Office or they collect.
Good luck

As @Adrian said, I imagine Amazon will accept the parcel and just ship it to the Welsh FC themselves (if that was the final destination for it), rather than sending it back, and you’ll get a notification on your FBA shipment page.
